Lots of room for our hand painted umbrellas in Calabassas

We have shown our hand painted art umbrellas at many wonderful Art Shows over the years. We have mostly exhibited in Southern California. Most recently, we show most often in La Quinta (the Palm Springs, Ca. area). We started out in the Huntington Beach, Ca. area, and showed in Orange County, when we first opened our business in 1998. We did travel, once, as far as Santa Fe, New Mexico. We participated in a 3 day event on the Plaza. That was a long trip, but the “Famous Plaza” is really something special. Overall, it was worth the trip, and we had a great show. We have been in historic Santa Barbara. We were in Rancho Bernardo, at their winery, for a special fund-raising event. For years, we loved to cool off in Morrow Bay, that’s on California’s Scenic Central Coast. We did 3 shows there every summer. It’s very hot in the California Desert where we live year round, so we enjoy a  trip to cool off . It becomes a working vacation, of sorts.

We have enjoyed selecting these photos from our archives. These images  of our hand painted umbrellas will provide a glimpse of our display at various venues we have shown our work, over the years. We have been fortunate, to have been selected, by jury, to be included, in many wonderful Art Shows. We strive to keep a wide, open feel, and a sense of casualness with our set up. It has a boutique kind of appeal.

Those attending these shows , frequently tell us that we are the most fun and unique booth in the entire show…. our hand painted umbrellas definitely get noticed……we bring a lot of color to the scene.

    • Donna, I just found this comment you submitted. I am not sure about the pillows/website thing just yet, as I am still getting orders out from March. I will share the fact that I do intend to post my paintings in the near future. In the meantime, if you would like, you can view the painting collection at my Facebook site. I am listed by
y the name Gary W Heath (Garrison Wayne). Go to my photos and you will see an album for the Folk Art Paintings. I now have 2 sizes (11 x 14 and 16 x 20). 11 x 14 are still $49 and the new larger ones are $125. If you are a Facebook follower, send me a friend request. Hope all is well with you and the rest of the girls.

  4. I met you a week ago at the show at the tennis venue.
I purchased 3 pillow shames and think of more as gifts.
I didn’t see any photos of pillows. I don’t remember all you have.
I would like to see the designs again so can pick more out.
    Regards,
    James R
