We’d like to share a bit about the quality and durability of our Hand Painted Umbrellas. Quality and durability are very important to us at Canvas in the Garden. We want each of our hand painted items to be a lasting addition to your home. Our Hand Painted Umbrellas are painted with top quality exterior acrylic paints (house paint) made for outdoor exposure. The fabrics, we have sewn for us, are of heavy weight acrylic content. Acrylic is a high standard for outdoor use.
We strive to continually create unique and visually exciting market umbrellas for the patio or garden. Garrison Wayne creates all of the designs. These umbrellas are certain to provide a whole new dimension to your outdoor space. We have been offering these distinctive and stylish umbrellas since 1998.
We paint both sides of the umbrella (inside and out). Both sides are painted with the same design ,so you can appreciate the beauty from the distance and also while you are lounging underneath.
Our umbrellas are octagonal 9′ market umbrellas. They have a medium tone Asian hardwood frame with a pin and pulley system. They do not tilt. We can paint a smaller 7′ size on request. A table over 36″ diameter will require the 9′ size for ample shade. Pole size is a standard 1 1/2″ diameter.

To clean your umbrella, simply hose off with water and let dry completely in an open position. Spot clean with a mild detergent and a non-colored cloth. Do not excessively scrub.
We are two artists. We do all of the work ourselves. We have been in business since 1998. We never sub-contract.
